Natural Hair-Stroke Brows That Last
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo. Using a fine hand tool, Sarah places pigment in delicate strokes that mimic real brow hairs. They fill gaps, add shape and give you fuller, balanced brows that still look like yours.
Before any pigment goes on, Sarah measures and maps a brow shape to suit your face shape, features and natural hair. She also matches the colour to your hair and skin tone. Nothing starts until you’re happy with the design.
Microblading is our most popular treatment for clients across Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Lowestoft and Norfolk. It suits anyone who’s tired of drawing their brows on, has over-plucked brows that never grew back, or has lost brow hair through alopecia or medical treatment.
Want a softer, more filled-in look? Take a look at powder & ombré brows, or ask about combination brows (hair strokes plus shading) at your consultation.
Who Microblading Is For
Microblading is ideal if you want natural, defined brows with no daily effort. It’s especially popular with clients who:
- Have sparse, thin or patchy brows
- Over-plucked years ago and the hairs never grew back
- Draw their brows on every day and want the time back
- Have uneven or asymmetrical brows
- Have lost brow hair through alopecia, chemotherapy or thyroid conditions
- Want brows that survive swimming, the gym and holidays
Microblading tends to heal best on normal to dry skin. If your skin is very oily or mature, powder brows may hold better and last longer. Sarah will advise you honestly at your consultation.
Your Microblading Appointment
Consultation
Sarah talks through the look you want, checks you’re suitable and explains the process. Start with a free 15-minute consultation if you’d like.
Brow mapping
Your brows are measured and drawn on to suit your face, and the pigment colour is matched to your hair and skin. You approve every detail.
Microblading
Sarah creates fine hair strokes at a relaxed pace and checks in with you throughout. Most appointments take around 90 minutes.
4-week top-up
Once healed, you come back so Sarah can fill any gaps and fine-tune shape and colour. It’s included in the price.
Microblading Healing Timeline
Everyone heals a little differently. You’ll leave with full written aftercare, and Sarah is on hand if you have any questions.
Brows look darker, sharper and bolder than the final result. This is completely normal.
Light flaking as the skin heals. Strokes can look patchy or faint for a while. Don’t pick!
Colour settles and softens into its true, natural shade as the skin fully heals.
Your included top-up perfects the shape and strengthens any strokes that faded while healing.

Microblading FAQs
How much is microblading in Great Yarmouth?
Microblading at Skinful Aesthetics is £285, including your consultation, the treatment and a perfecting top-up at around 4 weeks.
Does microblading hurt?
Most clients find it far more comfortable than they expected. Sarah works at your pace, checks in throughout and explains every step.
How long does microblading last?
Results typically last 1–3 years depending on your skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure. A colour boost every 12–18 months keeps brows looking fresh.
Is microblading or powder brows better for me?
Microblading suits normal to dry skin and gives a natural hair-stroke look. Powder brows give a soft, filled-in makeup look and usually last better on oily or mature skin. Sarah will recommend the best option at your consultation.
Can you microblade over old eyebrow tattoos?
It depends on the colour, shape and how much the old work has faded. Book a free 15-minute consultation so Sarah can take a look and advise honestly.
Can I have microblading if I have hair loss or am having chemotherapy?
Many clients choose microblading after hair loss from alopecia or medical treatment. Timing matters around treatments like chemotherapy, so please get in touch and Sarah will talk through the best approach with you.
What should I avoid before microblading?
Sarah will send you full preparation advice when your appointment is confirmed. Generally, avoid tanning, brow tinting and waxing in the days beforehand. Some medications, conditions and pregnancy affect suitability, so Sarah will check this with you.
